Attitudes were compared on such variables as sex, teaching level, experience, training, and support services received using the “Attitude Toward Mainstreaming Scale.” Findings suggest that teachers had a relatively neutral attitude towards mainstreaming of children with special needs. Factors that impact on teacher attitudes are identified, and recommendations made for development of appropriate approaches to achieving mainstreaming.en-USregular class placementspecial needs studentsteachers' attutudesDevelopment of one education system for all school children: The significance of teachers' attitudesOther
