Much time was devoted to discussing ways and means of converting materials resulting from curriculum renewal exercises into textbooks and teaching materials. Various facets of book publishing were considered--editing, production, distribution, and marketing. Some of the factors inhibiting indigenous textbook production in the Caribbean were also examined.
