A few of the palms at right are almost headless, perhaps due to disease. The palms on the left are hemmed in by a simple, concrete-posted, wire, fence. A man dressed in Indian wear popular for this era: a dhoti or pair of shorts; a kurta or long sleeved shirt and a head tie, with a stick in his right hand, walks down the centre of the road. There is another person walking in the road in the background.enPlease contact the Main Library, The University of the West Indies for permission to use the digitized images. wimail@sta.uwi.eduTrinidad and TobagoPostcardsCities and towns--Trinidad and Tobago--San JuanCoconut palm--Trinidad and TobagoEast Indians--Trinidad and TobagoRural roads--Trinidad and TobagoMen--Trinidad and TobagoEthnic costume--IndiaClothing and dress--Trinidad and TobagoMen's clothing--IndiaTurbans--IndiaHeadgear--IndiaFences--Trinidad and TobagoRoads--Trinidad and Tobago[1908]Overhead electric lines--Trinidad and TobagoElectric lines--Trinidad and TobagoRoad to San Juan.
