The country road is wide enough for two automobiles to pass alongside each other, with ease. Trees and other vegetation grow on either side of the road casting shadows onto its surface. The vegetation varies from the thin, feathery, leaves of the palms that protrude over and through masses of bushes, to the dense clumps of bamboo leaves. An automobile from circa the early twentieth-century is driving toward two people who might be on bicycle.enPlease contact the Main Library, The University of the West Indies for permission to use the digitized images. wimail@sta.uwi.eduTrinidad and TobagoPostcardsRural roads--Trinidad and TobagoBamboo--Trinidad and TobagoPalms--Trinidad and TobagoAutomobiles--Trinidad and TobagoAntique and classic cars--Trinidad and TobagoCountry Road.
