Parts of two buildings are captured at the left and right edges of the photograph. The concrete building to the left has sash windows, a long concrete fence encompassing a large garden with several palms and a huge Samaan tree. The building to the right is more modest, wooden and has an overhanging balcony trimmed by fretwork. A few people are walking on the pavement below the balcony - a sailor in hat and tie; a lady; a tall man and a man in a suit and hat.enPlease contact the Main Library, The University of the West Indies for permission to use the digitized images. wimail@sta.uwi.eduTrinidad and TobagoPostcardsBuildings--Trinidad and TobagoPalms--Trinidad and TobagoTrees--Trinidad and TobagoClothing and dress--Trinidad and TobagoCities and towns--Trinidad and Tobago--Port of SpainArchitecture--Trinidad and TobagoWindows--Trinidad and TobagoBalconies--Trinidad and TobagoWooden balconies--Trinidad and TobagoSailors--Trinidad and TobagoUniforms--Trinidad and TobagoFretworkMen--Trinidad and Tobago[1945][Port of Spain]Image
