This majestic monument was placed here in honour of Trinidad and Tobago nationals who served and died in World Wars I and II, 1914-1918 and 1939-1945. The mountains, in the background, look teal blue. The trees surrounding the monument are vibrant green and some of them have yellow flowers. There are two benches in the foreground, just off one of the monument’s four pathways.enPlease contact the Main Library, The University of the West Indies for permission to use the digitized images. wimail@sta.uwi.eduTrinidad and TobagoPostcardsRoyal poinciana--Trinidad and TobagoTrees--Trinidad and TobagoParks--Trinidad and TobagoMonuments--Trinidad and TobagoMemorials--Trinidad and TobagoBenches--Trinidad and TobagoMountains--Trinidad and TobagoWorld War, 1914-1918--Monuments--Trinidad and TobagoWorld War, 1939-1945--Monuments--Trinidad and TobagoWar Memorial Park (Port of Spain)Memorial Park Trinidad and Tobago, West IndiesImage
