There are at least seven people in the photograph at mid-ground and four of them are wearing hats and light coloured, long sleeved shirts which was typical apparel for this era. Also at mid-ground is a building which could be a house and a number of trees. The trees at the right are coconut palms most of which are mature but there are a few younger ones near the road that appear as a mass of leaves resemble huge feathers. The unpitched, dirt road in the foreground is higher than the surrounding land, possibly to allow it to be properly drained after rainfall.enPlease contact the Main Library, The University of the West Indies for permission to use the digitized images. wimail@sta.uwi.eduTrinidad and TobagoPostcardsVillagesTrees--CoconutTypical country scene, Trinidad, B.W.I.Image
