Abstract

This is a photograph of the pitch lake, at Brighton, south west Trinidad. Rain has fallen and puddles form patterns on the pitch lake. There is very little vegetation. In the background one can see the shed roofs of single story buildings and a few trees. In the foreground the pitch resembles rocks.
