Title: Coolie Hut, Trinidad, B.W.I.
Abstract: Mud hut or ajoupas were used by the indentured East Indians. The walls of the hut are made from a mixture of clay, grass, cow dung and water to form a tapia while the roof is usually made from either carat or palm leaves.
