3. The opposition Jamaican Labour Party wants the ongoing commission of enquiry into the West Kingston violence to be scrapped and a new commission appointed. Dr. Carolyn Gomes from Jamaicans for Justice, tells the anchor the group is concerned with the appointment process and the discrediting of the current commission (03:51-07:00)
4. Grenada’s Finance Minister Anthony Boatswain, urges the country to continue making sacrifices as no tax reductions were announced in Grenada’s post September 11th budget. Lou Smith reports (07:01-08:45)
5. Dominican Prime Minister Pierre Charles, picks up the finance portfolio as Finance Minister Ambrose George takes vacation leave. There are widespread calls for Mr. George’s resignation or dismal after businessman Julian Giraud was arrested. Prime Minster Charles tells the anchor it is in the country’s best interest that Mr. George takes his leave (08:46-11:30)
6. A report on the British Government Overseas Territory Bill will be finalized at a sitting of the parliamentary committee on Thursday. It follows a vote that passed a clause to allow the Government to extend British citizenship to 14 overseas territories. Rosie Hayes reports (11:31-13:05)
7. Caribbean cricket fans endured another series of misery when the regional team went down in a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka. Bertram Niles reports (13:06-14:53)
