In the last budget, the Finance Minister announced the withdrawal of concessionary privileges and the workers are now calling for a reversal of the decision. 3. The government of Barbados is yet to give any indication of reversing its opposition to the Multilateral Air Service Agreement with Britain. Trinidad and Tobago’s Industry and Tourism Minister, Bhoe Tewarie, says that Barbados is being insular in opposing the agreement and such a stance can jeopardize the agreement with the entire Caribbean, and ultimately the thrust towards regional integration (06:24-09:41)
4. A conference on investment opportunities and incentives in Trinidad and Tobago scheduled to take place in London on Wednesday has been postponed. Paul Medlicott of the London School of Economics indicated that the postponement was due to the lack of support and comments on the potential of investment opportunities in Trinidad and Tobago (09:42-13:35)
