    Arnold Confident of Savannah Panorama

    Pan Trinbago President Patrick Arnold is confident that Panorama semifinals will, indeed, be held in Queen's Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain, come Carnival 2007. The Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (UDECOTT) announced that demolition of the Grand Stand and other connecting facilities at the Queen’s Park Savannah will begin early in the New Year. Arnold has insisted that UDECOTT engineers and Chairman Calder Hart had approved Pan Trinbago's plans to use the western end of the Savannah, including constructing a new stage and two stands for Panorama semifinals.

    Pan Trinbago to Meet with PM on Friday.

    Prime Minister Patrick Manning is scheduled to meet with the newly elected executive of Pan Trinbago on Friday. Pan Trinbago president confirmed that the Prime Minister has requested a meeting with the 10-man executive. However, Arnold states that it is more of a courtesy call to discuss Carnival 2007 than a formal meeting.
