    In this painting of the grounds of St. Hilary's School, Port of Spain, Trinidad, the following vegetation are highlighted: pink Poui - an ornamental flowering tree; Bougainvillea - a spiny shrub with masses of colourful flowers and Sago Palm (Cycas revoluta)- a slow growing ornamental plant with a rugged trunk and feathery leaves and which dates back to the ancient flora of the early Mesozoic era. St. Hilary's School was a secondary school, founded by the Anglican Bishop Arthur Henry Anstey on January 15th 1921. It was later renamed to Bishop Anstey High School (St. Hilary's), abbreviated BAHS, and is known for its high academic standards.
