This article discusses Amrit Samaroo’s interest in playing the steel pan as he flows in his father, Jit Samaroo's footsteps. With his father as his main tutor, Amrit has developed a love for music. He loves all types of music — classical, calypso, reggae, jazz, Indian, Latin American and parang. Amrit, however, prefers classical composers like Mozart and others, since he believes that to conquer that field of music is a real challenge.en_US
