Born from the common desire to advance the practice of urban and land management in the region, blueSpace the Caribbean Network for Urban and Land Management brings together a wide range of stakeholders to expand regional dialogue as it pertains to the urban sector with the view of achieving social justice, environmental equity and the alleviation of poverty.

Created in 2008, it is a multi-stakeholder organization, which facilitates the relationship between people and urban areas through capacity building, knowledge management and regional networking.

It is funded by international donor agencies such as the European Union and operates through the Secretariat its implementing body based at the University of the West-Indies, St-Augustine campus and its various partners.
