dc.description.abstract This article discusses the issue of ethics in education, and uses the fiasco surrounding the School-Based Assessment (SBA) assignments for the 2008 examinations of the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) as an example of secondary school students compromising ethical principles in their quest for good grades.
