Abstract

This is a photograph of the Pitch Lake, taken from a distance, circa the mid 20th century. On the right background are a few single story buildings that are the refineries, the Pitch Lake is at mid-ground covered with rainwater ponds and in the foreground is a coconut palm, other trees and vegetation.
