Abstract

Image depicts an early view of the Rosary Church, also known as The Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary and The Church of the Holy Rosary, Port of Spain, Trinidad, in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. This first chapel was to become the Rosary Church. It was built by Fr. Mariano Forestier OP and blessed by Archbishop Gonin in 1867. The stones that formed the walls came from the St. Ann's river. (Parish beat by Sr. Marie-Thérèse Rétout, O.P., 1976). Postcard number c27250.
