Postcard dated the 13th April, 1948 shows a black and white photograph of a section of the pitch-paved Saddle Road winding around a craggy cliff. White and black, rounded-concrete pillars strung together with iron rope form a barrier that stretchs along the full length of the road to the left. Also on the left of the road there is a thickly wooded mass of trees and there might be a precipice. |
