Trinity Cathedral, Trinidad

Abstract

A picture of The Trinity Cathedral located in the heart of Port of Spain. The Trinity Church as it was first called was destroyed in the great fire of 1808. With financial assistance for the British Parliament, the cornerstone was lain on May 30, 1816 and construction was completed in 1818. The Trinity Cathedral was consecrated in 1823.
