Abstract
The Biennial Steelband Music Festival, Pan is Beautiful VIII opens at the Jean Pierre Complex in Port of Spain. The visiting Swiss National Steelband has emerged as a serious contender for a place in the finals as their proficiency-level caused raised eyebrows and fed speculation. The article lists the three categories, the names of the bands, and their tunes at the Festival.
