Abstract
Members of the Tokyo Steel Orchestra protest what they deem "unequal treatment" at the Panorama semi-finals after their musical prelude was not played. Arranger Keith Salcedo stated that as a result neither the judges nor the audience were aware of what they were about to play. However, Pan Trinbago’s president Patrick Arnold stated that the musical prelude is for the crowd and the judges are aware of the Steel orchestra’s choice of music. He added that other bands have played without a musical prelude and made it into the final round of the competition.
