W.I. Anjo, Jose A large town house that once existed at the top of King George V Street in Roseau surrounded by a beautiful garden, on the site of what is now Astaphan's Supermarket. It was initially owned by Dr. John Imray, then converted to a guesthouse by the daughter of a second owner, Dr. Henry A.A. Nicholls. It was eventually sold to Mr. Waddy Astaphan in 1957, was demolished and a supermarket was built and opened in 1960 on the site (Honychurch). The dock is busy with people. Some are well dressed in hat and suit. The panoramic scene was taken with a warehouse in the background.
